Why, oh why???
Why do i eat soooo much over the weekend??? I totally sabotage everything i do through the week by overeating on the weekend! i get so frustrated with myself! i weighed myself this morning and i am back up to 261.6. I'm so frustrated. i was so upset with myself, that i was tempted to just give up completely. in fact, i wasn't even going to bring my gym bag so i wouldn't work out today. however, my inner strength (i have so little of it) got in gear and forced myself to bring my bag. damn it! i have to do this! i have to loose weight! its not a choice. i am doing this for my children, for my health. I want to be able to enjoy my children and be able to keep up with them. as of now, i am always tired and lazy. i don't want to be like that anymore. i want to be happy and healthy! I'm going to keep trying and I'm going to put in more effort.

One thing that has helped me shed off the baby weight is going staying away from buying unhealthy stuff at Publix. I know, easier said than done but don't go to publix while you're hungry. Go on a full stomach and you'll better resist the urge of buying that cereal to begin with. Buy really boring and really healthy food so that when you are home looking for a snack, all you have is a can of tuna! and you can't touch your son's snacks either! lol :)

ReplyDeleteI started the same way Gia!! Now I'm down by 12 lbs. I had the same problems as far as eating not too good over the weekend. But I started to change that. If there is no other choice but to eat whats there at the moment... than I just eat a very small amount of it and drink plenty of water that way I don't skip a meal but also don't over do it on the calories!! It takes some time on getting use to but if you are determined you will get there! It just takes a lot of work and you can't depend on any one else to do it for you! That was my problem in the beginning. I didn't want to do it alone and now I wouldn't have it any other way! I'm able to eat and go at my pace and not on my husbands or kids. You'll get there as long as you want it. I've been at this since October battling back and fourth but now I'm finally on a cycle that works for me and the weight is starting to come off. Just have PATIENCE!!!
ReplyDeleteHey lil sis...The way to tackle this is the way you're doing it. One step at a time , and yes I can speak from exp. Don't beat yourself up over it and keep at it. Like bringing in your gym bag today was away to get back on track... P.S This is just a suggestion but try to only weigh yourself once a week if not you will go nuts over every single ounce xoxo Caro
